Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy governs all online and offline payments made to Shiwalik Vidya Niketan School, GAZIPUR ROAD, DABUA COLONY, SEC-50, NIT, FARIDABAD through the School website or authorized payment gateways.

2. General Policy

All fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in cases specifically approved by the School management.

3. Duplicate or Excess Payments

In case of duplicate payment or excess amount paid due to technical error, the excess amount may be refunded after verification by the School.

• Valid proof of payment is mandatory
• Refund approval is subject to School management decision

4. Failed Transactions

If an amount is deducted from the user’s account but the transaction is marked as failed, the amount will be automatically reversed by the bank or payment gateway as per their standard process.

The School shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateway service providers.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds (if any) will be processed through the original mode of payment within 7–10 working days, subject to bank timelines.

6. Mode of Refund

Refunds will be credited only to the original payment source (bank account, card, UPI, or wallet). No cash refunds will be issued.

7. Cancellation Policy

Fee payments once made cannot be cancelled. Requests for cancellation will not be entertained after payment confirmation.

8. Limitation of Liability

The School shall not be liable for:

• Incorrect payment made by the user
• Delay in refund due to bank or gateway issues
• Technical failures beyond School control

9. Changes to Refund Policy

The School reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Faridabad, Haryana courts only.
